Ian's Birthday Party
Can you call it a party if it's just our little family? Let's just go with it. We had Ian's party tonight, complete with cake, ice cream and presents. He absolutely LOVED feeding himself the cake! As you can see, he tried his best to lick the plate clean.

Ian is AWESOME! he looks so happy and excited about the cake and the plate! I wanted so badly for Mckenzie to get crazy with her 1st bday cake, but that didn't happen. Oh well, it's still always fun to see what those little ones do as they try new things!

Well, that was fabulous, Ian. What a card you are. I just wonder who got to clean up the mess. Was it Daddy or Mommy??

That movie was so funny, I've watched it a few times and laugh just as much each time! I realize I must take after my mom though--I'm thinking you are brave parents to let him get so crazy with his food. But I definately admire that!

Madeleine didn't put on a show at all on her 1st birthday, especially compared to how into it Ian was.

As for the clean-up, it was a joint effort. I cleaned up Ian and Spencer cleaned up the high chair. And his new outfit is perfect! He wore it today and looked so handsome!
That kid knows how to eat cake. That is too funny. I love the plate to the face. He must have seen me. Ian is such a cutie. They both are.
