Christmas lights

We took the kids to see the lights at the LA Temple a few nights ago. I was able to get this cool shot of Maddie thanks to her being able to sit really still and using no flash.
Ian does not sit still so any pics without flash were a blurry mess. He could have climbed on (and fallen off) this rock all night. Too bad it started to rain while we were there. His fun had to be cut short.

Great pix, Rach! I can't wait to live closer and get to know these little munchkins. And Sarah will be in heaven enjoying cousin-playmates! I wish our temple had "big" Christmas display, but the nativity (while beautiful) won't excite the kids enough for them to want to drive 90 minutes to look at it. Glenn, Sarah and I saw a street called Candy Cane Lane (officially I think it's Thoroughbred Street; it's west of Sapphire St) in Alta Loma (Rancho Cucamonga) that is AMAZING!!!! Every house in the 2-3 block stretch has unbelievable decorations on their home/yard; many also have little booths set up selling hot cocoa, tamales, etc. The day we saw it, it was one of the homes highlighted on "What's With That Decked-out Christmas House" on HGTV. Sarah LOVED it. We'll definitely be taking the boys next year. Merry Christmas!
